Camden Council has a proposal to increase housing in this area by building a new large development next to Blashford on Adelaide Road and a smaller development on the Fellows Rd Estate.

 

The drawings below show what is proposed for the Adelaide Rd development. Under the plans the garage will go and the medical centre will be rebuilt on the corner with Primrose Hill Road.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Council say this large development will mean about 70 new homes, with a ‘high level’ of them being affordable housing. We are aware that local people are concerned about the impact on transport, schools, the nature reserve and on Blashford residents.

 

These drawings below show what is proposed for the Fellows Rd Estate. Under the plans four new 3-storey homes will be built to the south of Duncan House. A further 2-storey block of flats will be built next to Rackstraw House.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Timetable:

On-going: workshops with architects (Fellows Road workshops to commence July 2013)

December 2013: submit for approval to Camden Council’s cabinet

Spring 2014: submit for planning permission

Autumn 2014: potential start date for works
